The Living Petition
United Nations World Humanitarian Day
Working with the United Nations to help put an end to violence toward innocent civilians in areas of torn apart by conflict, we created a petition for the digital age. Rather than a signature, we asked that they provide selfies which were then turned into 3D images unveiled at U.N. Headquarters on World Humanitarian Day, Aug. 17.
Visitors to the site were asked to take a selfie that was then turned into a 3D model and added to the petition to be displayed on a sculpture installed inside the United Nations General Assembly. World leaders came face to face with citizens calling for an end to violence against innocent civilians around the world.
