Mile Deep Films & Television: Identity

The Mile Deep Films & Television identity was developed for a documentary filmmaker whose storytelling philosophy is to go “a mile deep and an inch wide.” The mark draws inspiration from a shovel kept in the director’s office, a personal artifact that symbolizes digging deeply into human stories. This motif becomes the centerpiece of the brand, forming a distinctive icon that integrates with the MD initials and supporting graphic elements. Paired with a bold color palette and simple geometric forms, the identity system translates seamlessly across business materials, merchandise, and production branding.
